Hi,

Hope anyone can help me to understand a little bit more how Oracle is accounting when an invoice source line is transferred from one asset to another.

I have one capitalized asset with cost of 300 USD and accumulated depreciation of 108.31 USD. Because a business mistake they want to transfer the cost of this asset to another capitalized asset with a cost of 1180 USD.

So, business did transfer the asset with total of 300 USD using the "transfer to" option from the invoice source line. The question we got is: once they performed this action, the expense account is debited twice for the total of the accumulated depreciation (108.31) and we couldn't figured out why the system accounted like this.
