Can a default value be specified in the configuration file for all bursting control files?

Our bursting control files set the document type to "xls-fo". The new Mobile apps patch requires us to change this to "xlsfo" in all files. Is there an alternative to making all of these changes? Can a default value be specified in the configuration file for all bursting control files?
