Does VM server run on AMD Ryzen CPU?

Hi,

I'm testing different hypervisors on this setup:

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1050

CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 1700X 8-Core 3.4 GHz

Board:MSI B350 TOMAHAWK AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD

RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM

HD: Toshiba P300 3TB Desktop PC Internal Hard Drive 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64 MB Cache

Tested Xen 7.5 community edition, works without problems.

Virtual Box on Windows 10 Pro also worked ok.

Installing Oracle VM server hangs during install at:

waiting for hardware to initialize

Does VM server run on this platform?

Please let me know if there is a way to find out where it is hanging (which hardware component is causing the freeze).  I already :
