V18.8.0.1 - Performance Issues, especially with IE

In our STAGE environment we are on V 18.8.0.1    This current version has some serious performance issues which we understand are being addressed.

One performance issue is due to how much data is being cached and can be extremely slow when opening a BP with hundreds of records and detail line items in the new Standard view.

When using IE the performance hit is significantly increased, almost to the point of being unusable. We understand that these issues are known and are being addressed in a future release.

Is anyone else seeing these types of issues?

Is Oracle addressing these in a future release?  If so, what is the anticipated release date and where we may be able to find out more about that release and track it via MOS?
