Using adop downtime mode to upgrade a tech stack ?

Hi,

I have an 12.2.4 instance that i have to migrate from Linux to Exadata/Exalogic. The downtime required for the total intervention is 3h.

On top of this we want also take the opportunity to upgrade the techstack which includes for us:

- Upgrade FMW to 11.1.1.9 + patchs

- Apply C.10 AD/TXK

- Apply ATG FP C.delta7

Even with grouping everything in one adop cycle it took hours to complete. For example the weblogic server patching with bsu.sh is too long.

To optimize it we thought we can backup for example the new weblogic with patchs during a test run and use the backup for the production. But our main issue is the adop cycle
