Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Workaround to allow users to cancel a WO on the Mobile App

Hi,

The Mobile eAM App does not support the cancellation of a work order out-of-the-box.

Users can only set the WO status to 'Complete'.

The eAM FAQ states that "For technician role access, the update WO option is not enabled and this is as per current design of Mobile App."

I would like to know whether there is any workaround for this limitation?

Can we alter existing responsibility definitions and add specific functions to them to extend the LOV showing the statuses on the Mobile App?

Any other suggestion you're aware of to include this functionality?

Would there be any plans by Dev to enhance the Mobile App to allow WO cancellations?
