Need to change Value Set of future/spare segment of GL Accounting Flexfield

Our GL Accounting Flexfield structure is as follows:

130-0000-62201330-0000-130-0000-0000

The last 2 segments are future/spare/unused which means the only value in their value sets is '0000'

The problem is that we have another Flexfield (Locator Flexfield - Inventory) whose future segment was also incorrectly assigned the same value set as GL flexfield future segment.

This was working fine until now. But now we need to utilize the Location flexfields future segment. When we add values in its value set the values also begin to appear in GL flexfield.

Is there a way to resolve this issue?
