Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Quality Plans - Need to use a specific Sequence No or Character for an attribute but system assigns

When we add an attribute to a Quality Plan system assigns a Character or Sequence Number in the QA_RESULTS Table.

Our requirement is that we want to assign a specific Character or Sequence to an attribute.

The Character/Sequence is unused and should be available.

For example: In the Plan below the attribute 'Project Number MZG' is assigned SEQUENCE11.

The problem is that this attribute was setup incorrectly and we need to delete this attribute from the Plan and assign a new one.

The new attribute is assigned SEQUENCE15 even though SEQUENCE11 is no longer used by any attribute and no records exist in quality plan.
