Supplier Parent- child merge

in Procurement - EBS (MOSC) Question

I have a business request to merge suppliers for parent-child relation.

Example, today I have supplier ABC UK, ABC France, ABC Germany, I want to merge them into supplier ABC LLC and all the sites under ABC UK, ABC France, ABC Germany should be ABC LLC sites.

With this I want the tax details to be associated at the site level.

Would Oracle  R12 let you do Parent-child merge and also enter tax at the site level.

Would it break any of the Oracle P2P functionality and the localization report?
