We have currently 1200 trail files to be applied by replicat with LAG of 3 days, customer want to up

Current environment is 12.2 on source and target

this is integrated extract and replicat

We are planning to go ahead with integrated parallel replicat of 12.3

in the process of setting this environment the question is whether GG would be able to read trail files of 12.2 and 12.3 both, because

we are stopping extract, pump and replicat keep a tap on RBA

we will upgrade the GG to 12.3, start the extract, pump and replicat, by that time out of 1200 trail files we would be having a mixture of 12.3 new trails got generated and 12.2 1200 files.

I need your help if these trail files are honored by replicat, because post upgrade source and target would be 12.3 but 1200 trail files are of 12.2, new files also get generated.
