setting vm.min_free_kbytes for Oracle RAC

hello,

How much is the recommended size for vm.min_free_kbytes on a 196GB RAM host.

Some of the MOS notes give a generic suggestion of 512MB. Is this sufficient for all memory configs or is there a generic calculation like 1% of RAM or 512MB (whichever is higher ?)
