Cost addition to a fully depreciated asset (beyond its normal useful life)

There is a fully depreciated asset (beyond its normal useful life) still working fine and the company may spend some money on it that will give a fresh life to it. So :

  1. How this can be done? through asset enterprise management??
  2. What the steps should be followed?
  3. How the depreciation will be calculated?
