Can Sun Cluster 4.3 operate with split nodes that are 2 miles apart in different Data Centers

Not much experience with long distance campuses. I am going into a situation where the customer is splitting their DC into 2 different computer rooms for Disaster Recovery 2 miles apart. We will be implementing Solaris 11.3 and Sun Cluster 4.3 with Oracle RAC.

I do not think it should be a issue with network latency as long as the network is responsive enough. IS Metro Cluster (or GEO cluster, not sure anymore on the long haul Cluster solution) recommended or will the default networking/timing values in Oracle Cluster 4.3 be ok?
