Updated rtf document with Word and BI Publisher no longer works in EBS

I am trying to change an rtf document using Microsft Word 2010 and BI Publisher addin Build 11.1.1.9.0

Bank Name and Bank Account Number were hard coded and I was trying to add the actual data fields so that it would work with any bank.

But after changing it and re-updating the file in the Payments Setup of EBS, we got a warning and it never gave us a check to print.  In my testing I also found that it only takes a slight change to the document to make this issue occur.  In fact I changed the original hard coded Bank Name by one letter and then changed it back. And it still doesn't work!  It only seems to work with the original rtf.
