"telnet" not found in ODA X7-2 HA

I was trying to test via telnet command if a specific server/port is opened for our ODA X7 servers.

However, telnet has not been installed in the ODA X7 HA BM (via regular deployment/installation).

Does anybody know if it is possible to install telnet on the ODAs or if there is another way to test connection to another server/port?
