Preventative Maintenance Work Orders and MRP

Hi all, we are using 9.2. 

Is there integration between MRP and Preventative Maint Work Orders ?    We are looking for the best visibility of MRP demand going all the way to parts to be used for PMs.

Do you set the parts list up on the equipment master (P13017) and if so, I assume that you then only get visibility to the demand once the PM is generated based on your PM schedule?  Is that handled in Supply and Demand?

I've been looking most of the day for some documentation, if anyone could point me somewhere, I would much appreciate it.
