Increase planning demand of a component

Hi,

I want to increase the demand of a specific component in a BOM.

  • Adding a scrap % will not work as it will increase the cost also.
  • Adding a shrink % on the parent will encrasse the demand on all the components; it does not meet the requirement.

Is there a way to do that? what are the options?

If I replace that component by a phantom item in the parent BOM, and create a phantom BOM where the component is the only item: Would a % shrink on the phantom item could lead to an increase in the demand of the component?
