Salvage and extended life functionality

Hello,

We have an requirement to enable the salvage value to be depreciated (after life) further, if the FA is still in operation.

I have a qustion regarding the functinality.

As per note

or How to Set Extended Life for an Asset (Doc ID 1048808.6)

we have to enter default depreciation limit on the category.

What if we need salvage and extended life on particular assets only from different categories, not all assets in a category.

How to handle such case ?
