out of place July 2018 PSU patch for oracle home

Hi,

I have oracle database home on two node RAC cluster on exadata that has container and pluggable databases.  We are going to be patching to the July 2018 PSU for the DB home as an out of place patch.  Do you guys know if any good site with example of this or any good oracle support notes?  I know in theory it is simply creating oracle home clone and then pointing the database to the patched home and I know about oplan and will probably use that to generate the plan but I also want to see if there are
