How to determine the root cause for an order stuck in wsh_delivery_details.released_status 'C' i.e.

We have few orders stuck in wsh_delivery_details released_status 'C' i.e. 'Shipped' stage. However, before proceeding with the solution to progress these orders to next stage, is there a way to determine the root cause for them being stuck?
