REIMPOSTING batch fails with "One or more accounts subjected to posting is invalid"

Hi Support,

We are facing issues with reimposting batch where it is failing with "One or more accounts subjected to posting is invalid".

After many attempts we found that issue was with system.properties file where

system.maximum.segments=20 and

system.maximum.line.segments=10.

When we make both the values same and give an attempt - the batch completed without any issues.

Can someone please give an overview how the property file related to reimposting and what relationship exists between table IM_GL_OPTIONS, IM_GL_CROSS_REF, IM_DYNAMIC_SEGMENT_DEPT_CLASS, IM_DYNAMIC_SEGMENT_LOCATION. Basically what this segmentation in posting refers to ?
