Question regarding extended cost used within P4111/F4111 to calculated on hand value

A credit order was created from history and the component involved a manufactured item.  The on hand value calculated within the header of the P4111 is using the last in manufactured unit cost whereas the business expects the system to calculate using the on hand value using the unit cost created from the credit order.  The credit order generated a weighted average cost (02) within the F4105 based on manual revisions made by the business.  I would like to understand if I change the 09 cost to reflect the value generated by the credit order will this present an integrity
