Open Enrollment Period Change when life event is processed

May I know what may have caused the Open Enrollment Period to change?

While testing for Open Enrollment it was found that when a life event is detected during OE, example Salary Change. Then, Open Life Event is reprocessed, it extends the Open Enrollment Period based on the occurred date of the Salary Change Life Event.

Scenario:

1. Elections made during OE. (Changes on plans from HMO to PPO)

Open Enrollment is 01-OCT to 31-OCT - 2018

2. Salary Change detected Oct 5, 2018.

3. Processed Salary Change Life Event.

4. Open Life Event is backed out and on Unprocessed Status.

5. Reprocess Open Life Event.

6. There's a message that will show up as:
