P512000 vs P512000A

Hello ,

We are upgrading from 9.0  to 9.2 and our company utilizes the JSI extensively. (p512000)

We have found a bug and oracle has recorded it , and the bug relates to changes in header not being persistent.. Meaning , if you go to the column tab , select a new UDC value , confirm the new column is in the grid , and then go back to the display tab and change the LOD from 9 to 7.  The JSI looses the change you just made with the new column

couple of questions:

1)  Has any other business's  ran into this issue AND have you found a workaround ?

2) Does anyone know if in 9.2 , you can bypass this P512000A and use P512000  only.. We are being told that there is NO FUNCTIONAL change from 9.0 to 9.2 for the JSI except the addition of the "A".

Howdy, Stranger!
