email notiffication for approval on requisition

We have enabled email notification for requisition approval. Notification will be send to approver when requisition is added. But it is sending notification as per line items added on requisition, where as we would like to send one email notification for single requisition added. Later if any modification will be done then email notification will be sent to approver.

Is there any way to fulfill the above? Please guide.
