data selection changes made directly in production

Hi,

We have modified the data selection of a report directly in production. We have a plan to update this data selection in all the lower environments in about a month's period.

But meanwhile are there any activities that can cause the modified data selection in production to be overrode with lower environments data selection...like full package build?

Note: We are not going to promote this report/version to production for some time.

Appreciate your help in understanding the full package build and data selection changes.
