What happens to a Deleted Travel Authorization ?

We are trying to look for a missing TA and after retrospection realized that it was deleted by the user. When tried to look into the tables EX_TAUTH_HDR  there was no row related to this TA. The only record of this TA is the email triggered to the approver requesting for approval.

Is this working as designed ? Do the rows from table get deleted when TA is deleted ?

Please Clarify.
