How is the process flow to reuse the remains of material?

Hi All,

I have a scenario below :

For example, I want to produce clothes with raw material is a roll of fabric material to make 500 clothes. and for the remains of fabric i want to reuse it.

How to setup the usage and yield for the material used?

How the process flow to reuse the remains of material? Is it become scrap?
