AR account balances

Hallo team,

I am working on new customisation report for my client where as a base i need to identify what is open AR beginning balance of ar accounts for instance in our case:

3916.231000.0000.000?

I found as base for this report this oracle standard report: Aging - 7 Buckets  - By Account Report

Do you know anyone may be not from this report but from some other source how is AR begining balance calculated? from which tables? and what columns are taken into consideration?

column inside this table where are data I am looking for is: Total for accounting flexfield. Just that everyone understand i am not looking for GL balance of account but for AR balance.
