Items Serialized at Sister Plant, Best Practice?

Our company has manufacturing locations and locations that mostly do distribution.  What is the best practice for the SRCE (Lot Process) when:

Location A manufactures Item B with SRCE = 6 on F4102

Location A transfers the material to Location Z using SK/OK or ST/OT.  What should SRCE = at this location?
