Are invoices from "GMS: Generate Draft Invoices for a Range of Awards" already approved and released

This might be a dumb question but I decided to ask anyways. I am wondering whether the invoices from "GMS: Generate Draft Invoices for a Range of Awards" still require manual approval and release?  If so, is there a way to mass approve / release the invoices? Or, is there a way to send notifications to key members when invoices are generated, approved / released?

We are on R12.2.4 EBS Grants Accounting
