Schedule ship date column sort functionality

Hi Team,

Do we have sort functionality for Schedule ship date column in Quick Sales Order form or in any other form in OM. Most of the times order lines with different schedule ship date are not consecutive.

We are in r12 version,is it part of standard functionality to not sort according to Schedule ship date when selected or is there any patch to be applied for a bug.

Has it been existed in previous versions only.
