How to update the Work Order from Custom Employee Time Entry Form to charge the time

Dear All,

We have a Requirement to charge the Work Orders from the Custom Employee Time Entry Form. The time is recorded against an employee code for each employee, so our client want to charge the time employee wise against a Work Order along with the costing effects.

Kindly suggest which API or APIs can be used for these transactions and in-case multiple APIs are required what should be the sequence.
