Oracle E-Business Suite Upgrade From 12.0.6 to 12.2.5

First I should tell that I am not a DBA. I am a developer. Our DBAs are upgrading EBS 12.0.6 to 12.2.5. First they upgraded to 12.1.3 and then to 12.2.5. I need to know that can we bring (copy) customized report source files (.rdf) through upgrade process without transfer them manually.

I am asking this because during 12.0.6 to 12.1.3 upgrade process all the customized reports were there but after 12.1.3 to 12.2.5 upgrade process none of the customized reports are not there.

If this is the normal behavior could you please provide me some support documents. Hope to hear from you soon.
