Slow connections on AIX during heavy connection load

Hi Guys....

I have one issue with one of our main database...

This is the picture of my issue:

  • Our database recieve up to 1500 connection per minute on normal operation day, we host a critical services in realtime.
  • We have our database on AIX 7.1 TL3 with Oracle Database 11.2.0.3
  • We don't using we have memory available, and the CPU utilization are 30% of physical CPUs at filesystem level we don't have contention or high resource utilization.
  • For an unknow reason sometimes the time required by the process to connect at the database increase from 1 second to 6 minutes to complete the connection.
  • In the alert log shown a lot of messages TNS-12537 and TNS-12560.
