What is the use of "Tax reportable option" checkbox while creating supplier site in PAYABLES

1. While creating supplier address there is a option call "Tax reportable Option" in AP suppliers page. If  we select that checkbox the site using that address is created as Income tax reportable site. What is the purpose of this option
