Item revision on Outside Process requisitions

I am initiating outside process requisitions from the MRP, but when it gets to the requisition there is no revision number on the item.  Requested.  Additionally, when I convert the requisition to a purchase order, the revision number stays blank and will not allow me to update it.

We order by revision on all our items and the process works for inventory items, etc.  It is just not working for the Outside Process items.

Any thoughts?
