how to improve performance of R12.automatic reversal

According to the bug 13601758: R12: PERFORMANCE OF GLPARV,

the performance of the C program part is very bad and only "SQL*Net message from client" is displayed in the trace, so the details of process are unknown.

Pls let me know

"what is going on the C programu part which display only "SQL*Net message from client" in trace file."

"how to improve the performance.the source batch before reversal completed in 15 min, the automatic reversal needs 5 hours 30 min. the number of headers is 10,000, the number of lines is 30,000."
