New lease preview payment schedule shows additional payment

I have created a new 2 year lease with a mid month start date of 24 Sep 2018 and ending date 23 Sep 2020 with monthly $1k payments. I would expect there to be 24 equal payments. It doesn't matter what payment schedule I choose, 24th of month, 20th of month, EOM or BOM, the preview payment schedule shows 25 payments. The additional payment is also added to total lease payments and also included in the PV calculation and the ROU Asset Cost on the general information tab.

I have also created leases starting on the 1st of the month and these payment schedules look correct with 24 equal payments and the correct asset value.
