Accounting IFRS16

Hi,

I have below queries on IFRS16 Accounting:

Scenario1:

Lease start date: 01-Jan-2016

Lease End date: 31-Dec-2018

Lease extension date: 01-Jan-2019

In this case will the accounting happens from Jan-2016  or the accounting starts from Jan-2019 after extension?

Scenario2:

Once the values are freezed in DEC-2018 by transition program, will the journals post to GL till dec-2018? If not how we can import?
