Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Create oracle 12c R2 database in GI 12c R1 ASM

Hi,

I tried to create a 12c R2 database in 12c R1 GI ASM, but in half way the dbca prompt error below

Is there any compatiblity issue between 12c R2 DB and 12c R1 GI?

p.s. I can connect to ASM and issue asmcmd and see the disk group
