Avaya AIC 7.3.2 CTI Compatability with Siebel CRM 18.x

We are currently on Siebel 8.1.1.11 with CIT Middleware integration for Avaya AIC 7.3.2. We are planning to upgrade Siebel CRM from 8.1.1.11 to Siebel CRM 18.9 (Latest Version). Wanted to know if there is any dependency to upgrade our CIT Middleware as well or will it work as is if we dont not upgrade our CTI. In case if we have to upgrade CIT Middleware, to what version to we need to upgrade Avaya AIC to make it compatabile to Siebel CRM 18.9. Avaya Partner has a validated integration with Siebel CRM IP2016 for its CTI middleware Avaya AIC 7.3.5. There is no information avaible if this will support Siebel CRM 18 and above. Can some one please suggest what should be our upgrade approach have business continuity of call center post upgrade and its dependency on CTI upgrade and to what version.
