Running Explorer on Cluster Node with other node down

edited Nov 1, 2018 5:08AM in Oracle Solaris Cluster (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered ✓

I need to run an explorer for Oracle support on a Sun Cluster 3.2 node, but the other node is down.  Will the explorer hang?  Will it try to collect info through the /global/.devices directory for the other node?  Is there a way to have explorer exclude trying to get info on the other node?

Even worse, is there a chance explorer could do something to crash the one node that's up?

I'm a little nervous running explorer with just one node up.

Thanks for the help,

Rob Roper
