Install Oracle standard database in server having CPU more than 16 threads

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are using Oracle database standard edition and planning to migrate to another server having CPU with 12 cores. Since, standard edition database can support up to 16 cpu threads only, as the new server will have 12 cores/24 threads, which will exceed the database limit. I understand that the database can utilize the maximum of 16 threads only but I still wonder whether I can install the standard edition database in server having CPU processor more than 16 threads or not? Could anyone know? Please help.
