How to set up a BP??

We want to set up Business Units with  type Branch Plant, this BP has financial reporting activity, then I am not sure if I have to upload the income statement  plus  the inventory accounts.  Can some one please clarify   if the inventory accounts needs to be included into the BP set up, I noticed in the JDE E1 demo that this accounts are included when a BU has a BP type.
