AGIS - Transaction initiation

Hello All,

Here we would like to understand Intercompany transaction initiation.

Scenario: Expense cross charge

Entity A has incurred some expenses, say $10 in which $4 is related to entity B.

While entering this transaction in entity A payables book for $4 if i use Inter company segment of B Can this trigger AGIS transaction?  Which means for $4 AGIS transaction has to trigger.

Here the business requirement is if it is not happening based on intercompany segment again user has to enter $4 in AGIS module as this is additional work for the user.  Please share any pointers on this / how we can achieve this?
