We really need to identify a solution for the ‘expense’ jobs so that the cost is relieved to the P&L on completion of the job as opposed to the current state where costs are relieved immediately up on consumption to the job.  What do we need to do to get some priority on this?

The reason for the priority is that this will again create differences between what the P&L shows as COGS vs. what was actually completed and billed.  The only way to correct this is with a journal entry similar to what is done for Cedar but it isn’t exact since the WIP report doesn’t give the Material/Labor/OH break-out by job.  That being said, the GL material cost won’t tie to the true-up material cost when there are expense jobs for pumps that are not complete at month-end which is required if we are to have any amount of certainty that we
