Reverted to previous Solaris 11 BE after zpool creations on seperate disks, how to reconnect those z

We had to revert to a previous Solaris 11 BE dated in September from our current BE due to issues.  In the mean time we had created serveral zpools on seperate devices.  Now that we have reverted to the previous BE I don't see those zpools any more.  Is there a way of reconnecting those zpools without loosing the contents.  I fear if I use zpool create again using the same name that it will wipe out the contents of those zpools.
