Any issues with patching individual ODA nodes a day apart?

We have an X6-2HA on ODA Version 12.2.1.4.0  bare metal.  Due to some legacy application issues with failover we would like to patch one node one day (using --local) and the other node the following day (again using --local) .   Is there a potential down side to having the two nodes at different versions for this amount of time?  Any caveats we need to know about?
