Create custom Oracle Cloud template outside OC using OVM

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

Greetings,

I am looking to take our own custom build OL6 and OL7 OVM templates and modify them to import and use in Oracle Cloud. Currently the templates have the ovmd and related ovm-template rpm`s installed. I believe these need to be removed even though Oracle Cloud uses OVM under the hood and the cloud-init package should be added. Is there a good document that goes through the steps needed to achive what i am lookin for in regards to modifying our exsiting OVM templates for use in Oracle Cloud.

There seems to be plenty of documentation about importing and creating custom templates using template builder etc but this is not what i am looking for. I already have the templates i just want to know what changes i would need to make to get them working in Oracle Cloud such as the networking / ssh setups.
